• Exercise on decision evaluation
• Tips on avoiding common decision making mistakes and class discussion
- Team Management skills– Monday 18th November 2019 (1 PM to 4 PM)
• Overview on leadership and motivation
• Maslow and Herzberg theories with group discussion on practical application to Myanmar context
• Delegation process
• Types of delegation and coaching to apply depending on the employee's profile/personality
• Role play on delegating tasks
- Positive Discipline – Monday 25th November 2019 (9 AM to 12 PM)
• Class discussion on Myanmar Legal framework on discipline (what you can do or cannot do as a manager)
• Understanding positive discipline processes in practical
• Group discussion on how to handle the following scenario: lateness, poor performance, insubordination, workplace bullying, alcohol related misconduct, unethical behaviour regarding cash.
• Effective communication in challenging situations: words to avoid, correct body language and voice, etc...
• Role play: Handling a difficult employee during discipline
