CCI France Myanmar YEC and MYEA co-organized their first networking cocktail 

Yangon, Myanmar, July 12, 2018 – This Thursday, the Young Entrepreneurs Committee (YEC) of CCI France Myanmar and Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA) organized their first joint networking event, in partnership with the Lotte Hotel.

For the occasion, four successful entrepreneurs participated in a panel discussion to share their experience, the difficulties they had to overcome and give some advice to young entrepreneurs who would like to start their own business in Myanmar. Our special guests were: 

☆ Dr. Aung Myat Lwin @Henry is the founder and managing director of Oriental Century Travel & Tours, which offers a variety of travel related services specialized in MICE and Leisure. He is also director and trainer of Trust Tourism Management and Vocational Training Institute.

☆ Jean Curci is a French entrepreneur who has worked in China, Japan, India, Thailand, and now Myanmar for over 5 years. He is one of the co-founders of Yangoods, and the co-founder of Myanmar’s first RPG society, Dagon Dice.

☆ Cedric Seguin is a French entrepreneur, CEO and Founder of Asia First Network group specialized in hospitality and tourism industry in South East Asia. He is well known for co-founding the largest pub in Myanmar, the Asiatico Pub, located in Inle, Nyaung Shwe.

☆ Dr. Yin Min Han @Yolanda is the Executive Director of V-Pile Holdings Co., ltd. where she successfully leads over 700 employees by using innovated technologies. She is also an active Executive Committee member of MYEA by facilitating Business Matching between local SME and foreign businesses.

This reception was also the occasion to officially announce the collaboration of MYEA and YEC by CCI France Myanmar on the drafting of the Entrepreneurs Guide to Myanmar. This guide aims at providing very concrete and realistic information and advice to Myanmar and foreign entrepreneurs, on how to create and run a SME in Myanmar, step by step, with details on different possible cases depending on the activity, nationality, status,… of the company and its owner(s).

In conclusion, this networking cocktail was a great success and we would like to thank all the guests that attended the event and especially the guest speakers.
