Bolloré Logistics Myanmar ensures smooth cargo flows with truck-to-air solution via Bangkok

To help exporters and importers in Myanmar to manage an uninterrupted supply chain flow while most international air freight links have been stopped, Bolloré Logistics Myanmar operates regular door-to-door truck-air schedules via Bangkok. Most recent examples include the export operations of masks for a major French textile manufacturer, from Yangon to Nantes, France.

Carrying a cargo lot of 8,850 kg of masks from Yangon, the truck fitted with mobile tracking starts its 9-hour journey - around 413 km, to the Myawaddy - Mae Sot border crossing to Thailand. Thanks to the expertise of the Bolloré Logistics Customs Clearance team, the process at the border was swift and completed on-time.

After another 500 km, of approximately 6 to 9 hours via the Asian Highway No.1 from Mae Sot, the cargo arrived at the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. The cargo was then connected to a 'Bolloré Logistics' Airfreight Export Blocked Space Consolidation Program' to France.

Julien Loiret, Managing Director of Bolloré Logistics Myanmar added, "Our truck-air solution via Bangkok works very well for both import and export, helping us to move air cargo to worldwide destination with a reliable and fast transit-time and connecting Myanmar to the world. At present, we are also offering customized solutions for Pharma and Temperature controlled goods."
