Our member, Pay-TV provider Canal+ and telecom operator MPT recently announced a partnership to provide MPT customers with access to nine pay-TV and two free-TV channels via the myCanal mobile app.
For a launching price of K800 per week, MPT customers will be able to access fully localized content including a variety of premium Canal+ Original Production TV series, live sports, movies, music videos and entertainment and edutainment programs.
Channels available via the app include Canal+ Zat Lenn, Canal+ Action, Canal+ Mae Madi, Canal+ Pu Tu Tue, Canal+ Cha Tate, Canal+ Sports, Canal+ Suu Sann, Canal+ Gita, Canal+ Ha Ha, MRTV-4 and Channel 7.
“By partnering with Canal+, we will be able to offer easy access to world-class entertainment at a very affordable price. We also believe that Canal+ will invest in local content to meet the varied demands of Myanmar viewers,” said Mr. Reizo Umeda, Chief Commercial Officer of MPT-KSGM Joint Operations.
The launching price of K800 per week is valid until February 14, 2020. Thereafter, the price will be K999 per week.
