Mr. Guillaume REBIERE, Executive Director of CCI France Myanmar, and Mr. Filip LAUWERYSEN, Executive Director of Eurocham Myanmar, have signed a MoU, on 11th May 2018, in order to deepen the collaboration between their two Chambers.

In this cooperation agreements both Chambers agree to complete each other and not compete with one another, in order to better serve the needs of European companies operating in or with Myanmar.

CCI France Myanmar will focus its services and activities on business support services, events and trainings, while Eurocham Myanmar will take the leadership on advocacy and lobbying.

Conditions have also been defined in order to allow Members of CCI France Myanmar to indirectly and automatically become Members of Eurocham Myanmar, in case that their headquarter is located within the EU. For other cases, the indirect Membership will be studied on a case by case basis, with a final decision taken by the Board of Directors of Eurocham Myanmar.

This MoU complete the agreement reached by all European Chambers of Commerce, who have decided to collaborate in organising quarterly joint Networking Cocktail, for the greater benefit of their Members and of all companies in Myanmar.
