Joint Chambers Project against COVID-19 in Myanmar

Joint Chambers Project against COVID-19 in Myanmar

On 10th September 2021, 180 oxygen tanks and oxygen regulators were delivered to Medical Action Myanmar - MAM Head Office (https://mam.org.mm/) and Community Partners International Myanmar (https://www.cpintl.org/), through our project “Chambers for Covid Crisis”, implemented in partnership with AMCHAM Myanmar and Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business.

We would like to especially thank Acteus Group for helping with the order, for financially participating in the project and for delivering the oxygen tanks. We also thank CMA CGM GROUP (Official) for offering the whole logistics from Singapore to Yangon pro-bono. Their generous contribution is going to save lives in Myanmar in the coming days.

Finally, once again, we would like to thank the French Embassy in Myanmar / Ambassade de France en Birmanie for their support, as well as the following Members and organisations, who have made generous donations: TotalEnergies Myanmar, KBZ BANK, The Foundation Puma Energy/Trafigura, Pernod Ricard/ Seagram Myanmar Co., Ltd., Servier, Nestlé Myanmar, EDF, Bioderma, Conseillers du commerce exterieur de la France (The French Trade Counselors - CCEF), AGS Fourwinds, Audaxia Global, Yever, and Berim Asia.

Thanks to them we were able to purchase and donate oxygen concentrators, treatment, medicine and more recently the oxygen tanks delivered last Friday to help the Myanmar population during the Covid crisis.
